Contagion's Crux (2019) Overpaint

I was going over my old portfolio and wanted to see how much I improved, so I overpainted one of my favorite artworks from 2019 with all the best intent to not just start it over. Fixed a little bit of form, a little bit of lighting, improved vfx and added more depth with a little drop shadow and ambient occlusion. Took about 3h of trial and error to get it to a new "canon". Original artwork was flat, overdetailed (used to be my biggest issue!) and colors were very off for a night indoor/outdoor looking scene with two light sources.
I like how it came our so I guess now it can go back to my portfolio!
